Building a shoe brand is no easy accomplishment. In fact, it has been a rollercoaster ride since day one. But worth every second of the journey. In this episode of Sartorial Talks, Part 2 of a three-part series, Hugo and I discuss the early days of my shoe brand, J.FitzPatrick Footwear, and how I got it off of the ground. It is an invigorating story that I hope will inspire many, not only to chase their dreams but to make sure they are prepared when doing so. The road to success is full of bumps!
In this episode, we discuss the journey of building a shoe brand, and how it took me from Savile Row to NYC with all the stops between. The journey started at Gieves & Hawkes Number 1, Savile Row back in 2013. I then moved to the East End of London at the bespoke house of Timothy Everest and finally ended up in New York City in 2018. There are lots of ups and downs in between those places which I will save for the book I am writing ;-).
I hope that you enjoy the video! Make sure to watch part 1 first if you have yet to do so already.
