And let me tell you, that light feeling you get on a robust sole makes a difference, especially for those on their feet all day. This boot looks heavy but probably weighs a maximum of 1.5 lbs. And that is for the pair!

Beautiful Chelsea Boots! I have artificial or rubber soles on some of my shoes, and I know these types of shoe sole serve a purpose; but to me, they belong on work boots or hiking boots. I guess I am shoe snobbing.
