The Septieme Largeur AW23 Collection has just dropped and there are some interesting shoes/boots going on! As one might expect, the commando sole craze is ongoing and nearly every pair of shoes/boots from the Septieme Largeur AW23 Collection features a Vibram commando sole. And for good reason since Paris, their hometown, is a city full of concrete, a good amount of cobblestones, and a whole lot of walking done by most Parisians. The commando sole remains practical for your average city dweller.
Here I showcase some of my favorites from the new collection. The tall strap boot is really cool. I will be curious to see how it is received. It is quite tall and I know a lot of people outside of the military are not used to that feel. It also comes at a higher price than most. Do be aware, a price increase is coming across the board in early 2024 for Septieme Largeur. I have heard it directly from the horse’s mouth, so now is the time to buy while the prices are still so incredibly low. Trust me, I am not blowing smoke.
I really like the green suede chukkas with the contrasting white stitching. That is a lovely boot and feel that it might be their best seller of the season. That color of green is just so versatile and attractive. You can see just how good it looks in their lifestyle photography. And under $300 (for non-Europeans) once VAT is deducted. Hard to beat that!
Surprisingly I quite like the black grain derby shoe too. Which is odd, as I am not the biggest derby fan. But I like the pattern on that last, on that sole, and in that grain leather. It is the perfect combination. I imagine that this will also be a popular model for them. They also bring back the hiking style, which if you know me, you know I am a sucker for. That is a great-looking boot. Yet that one also comes at a higher price. Metal adornments usually make that happen. Not to mention that it is nearly a wholecut boot.
There is a lot to look at so do not hesitate to go check it all out. And if you like one, make sure to grab it before that price hike! Mark my words.
