For those of you that haven’t heard of him, there is a new bespoke shoemaker in town (of course, when I say new, I don’t mean literally) that is of French origin but set up with operations in Dubai. And his name is Morgan Papin.
I don’t recall how I came across him. For sure on Instagram. But what got me was the shoe above. We all know that I am a huge sucker for a saddle oxford (the dressy kind) and this one here is one of the coolest that I have seen. And that is one thing I love about French shoemakers. They all have some sort of super slick saddle oxford. And I always love them.
Morgan upkeeps his French roots of shoemaking with super sharp lasts, designs like you have never seen before and of course the classics. I have yet to learn more about him, but will do so soon and share the knowledge. For now, you can feast your eyes on the greatness shown here and let us stay tuned for more as his IG posts progress
